Kegan Marling (he/they) is a visual & movement artist and arts consultant from the San Francisco Bay Area. Influenced by choreographers Della Davidson, Lea Anderson, Nigel Charnock and Joe Goode, his work focuses on alternative queer communities, dance and theatre artists, body positivity, and queer pursuits of play – including gaymers, pups, drag queens, wrestlers, cowboys, and faeries.

 

Marling's photography has frequently appeared in the SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, Bay Area Reporter, and SF Bay Gaurdian, as well as solo exhibits at CounterPulse Gallery, LoneStar Saloon, and as part of the permanent collection at SF General Hospital. Marling's short films have been screened at the National Queer Arts Festival, and "Rex Ray: A Portrait," was selected 1st place at the Festival of the Moving Image in 2021.
